A note from an admiring fan:

I have long noticed and admired the medieval icon-like quality of many of
your paintings and drawings. I am also aware of the contemporary vogue for self-mutilating performance artists.

Your idea to channel these two trends into the creation of a reliquary for modern times is a brilliant conception. However, I do think the donation of your own finger bones could be misinterpreted as a subliminal plea for sainthood; and, beyond that, it must hurt like hell.

What did you do?

… Which hand did you hurt?
Which finger? Or fingers?

Of course, you can’t answer that because you can’t type.

Seriously, your musical career was just beginning to take off. I strongly urge you to have a hand surgeon look at those fingers as soon as possible.
Before they are set and need to be re-broken.

I cannot imagine how much it must hurt.
