"A patch of solid ice" is not, in my opinion, redundant

It is very slippery, though.

I understand that I am now officially too old to use "prolly." Someone at work told me that.

i don't think you're too old to use 'prolly'. for what that's worth.

also, 'patch of solid ice' does not at first seem redundant to me, either.

You're not too old fer prolly. No one's too old fer that.

But solid ice isn't redundant... it's tautological.
