Old MacDonald, Take 25!

Here's proof!
I told you people that it was true. On the set for Sesame Street, August 1977. Roehrich Farms, Hackettstown, NJ. My sister and I got paid either $20 or $25 dollars, I can't remember.

Is this really Roehrich Farms in Hackettstown? Do you have any other photos? The farm does not look like that now, it's wood.

Yeah uh I would hate to burst your bubble, but this place was burned down in 1927 and re-built, and as it still stands, it's in shambles of whatever wood structure they had holding it up. The picture you have is cement however. Now if this was in 1977, don't you think the cement would still be up instead of it just being made out of wood? Do your homework. I have pics to prove it if you need to be de-bunked. Get back to me.

Anon,
I have thousands of pictures. As my grandparents lived in a house there until the late 1990s. I spent many many days there.

So,
melly, I'm in no mood to start a flame war with you on my own blog, but it was still very much a working dairy at the time this photo was taken. No debunking necessary.

There's not much there the last time I checked.

Melly, I think your best bet would be to do a search for them and call them up. I think they do corn now. I think there was a fire there at one point, I remember a plaque carved into the cement, which could explain why an old family dairy farm was made of cement.
